10:30 – 10:50 am:  Players arrive and gather with their team (all teams will be on the east side of the park, Field 1).

10:50 – 11:00 am:  Teams are organized for parade of teams. Order of teams: Majors, Minor A, Minor B, Rookie.

11:00 – 11:15 am:  Parade of teams. All teams will parade past the backstop and take their place on the field.

11:15 – 11:30 am:  National Anthem, Welcome from Mayor, Opening Comments

11:30 – 11:45 am:  Special Guest Speaker – Former NFL Quaterback Jay Fieldler

11:45:  Ceremonial First Pitch

12:00 pm:  GVLL Picnic

1:00 pm:  Majors games begin

Following the ceremony, all families and guests are invited to the GVLL Picnic to enjoy complementary hot dogs, hamburgers, bratwursts, and cake. Grilled food will be served on the path towards fields 2 & 3. Donations will be accepted to help cover the costs of the meat.

Beverages and other food available at the concession stand for regular prices.

Families and players are encouraged to stay and watch the Majors games at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

Please park in the Sandberg school parking lot.  We are expecting 245 players and their families.  The streets will be very crowded.  Please use caution when driving and walking to and from Isaacson Park.  

In case of bad weather, check the website. If the event needs to be rescheduled it will be noted on the website no later than 10 AM. If weather forces cancellation the event will be held on Saturday May 9.Times yet to be determined.
